Investigating Current Research into Intellectual Disability in NSW

Information and Request for Current Research Interest

The ACI ID Health Network Research and Development subcommittee, co-chaired by Dr Seeta Durvasula, has assisted in the development of this 2016 survey about current research activity in intellectual disability in NSW, based upon its 2013 survey.

If you are interested in having your research information added to our catalogue we ask that you complete the survey by July 29 2016. If you completed the survey in 2013, we are asking that you kindly update your information to assist us in keeping our catalogue current.

We are sending the survey out to Network members across NSW via Survey Monkey.

You can also assist us by forwarding the Survey Monkey request to your colleagues and interested consumers and carers, as appropriate.

The results of this survey contribute to a comprehensive catalogue of current research activity and provide professional groups involved with Intellectual Disability issues a means of keeping informed about research in the area.

The survey has two sections.

  • The first is about general research activity in order to see how the landscape has changed. This information will be anonymous.
  • The second section is about your specific research activity. Your permission is again requested to place your research information on the ACI website in an effort to promote professional collaboration. If you do not wish to have this research placed on the ACI website, we can still use the information for general comments about research activity and gap analysis.

If you provide your email address we will send you an email to let you know when the results are on the website.

This survey has 12 questions and will take about 10 minutes to complete.

For your information, the following work from the 2013 survey is available:

We thank you for working with NSWAgency for Clinical Innovation Intellectual Disability Health Network on this survey.
