About the Gastroenterology Network
The Gastroenterology Network was established to promote high quality care, reduce inequities in access to services and improve outcomes for NSW patients with a range of gastroenterological disorders, including viral hepatitis treatment and care.

The ACI Gastroenterology Network is led by an executive committee, which includes doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and consumers.
The network has more than 290 members and includes clinicians, consumers and representatives from local health districts, specialty networks, the Health Education and Training Institute (formerly the Clinical Education and Training Institute), the NSW Ministry of Health, Clinical Excellence Commission, the Cancer Institute NSW and non-government organisations such as Hepatitis NSW .
The ACI Gastroenterology Network was established in 2005 by the ACI ’s predecessor the Greater Metropolitan Clinical Taskforce.
