The ECI website is maintained by the ECI for and on behalf of the Agency for Clinical Information (ACI) and the Crown in right of the State of New South Wales ("the State of New South Wales") for your personal use and viewing. You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes, and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of this site by any third party. Such restriction or inhibition includes, without limitation, conduct which is unlawful, or which may harass or cause distress or inconvenience to any person, and the transmission of obscene or offensive content or disruption of normal flow of dialogue within this site. You also agree that you shall not make any use of the website such that the whole or part of the website is interrupted, damaged, rendered less efficient, or the effectiveness or functionally of the website is in any way impaired and that you will not use the website for the transmission or posting of any computer viruses

Patient and Client Information

You must not and will not post demographic or other information about a client or patient that will allow a user to identify that client or patient.

Usernames and Passwords

You are responsible for the use of your confidential username and password and for maintaining their security and you are responsible for any use whatsoever of your username and password whether authorised or not. You must not share any access codes or passwords provided to you for the use of this website with anyone.

Termination of account

The ECI has the right to suspend or terminate your ability to access the log in members areas of this website, for any reason, without notice

All information contained within the Clinical Network Website or through links to internal or external sources is provided for informational purposes only. Such information does not constitute professional advice, and that such information should not be relied upon to make critical clinical or other decisions. You further agree that the ECI does not endorse any products or services available through any links contained in this website and shall not be liable for the content or information contained therein.

Comments postings

When posting information from other sources please ensure that you use links to post the original information source or website. Do not copy and paste information into the website directly. This will ensure that another person or organisation’s copyright is not impinged upon. 

When posting content in the ECI website, you agree that you will:

All comments posted are verified by a member of the ECI prior to publication. All comments will be moderated. Comments will be either approved or not. Comments will not be edited. Comments will be posted during business hours on Mondays to Fridays.

Whilst every endeavour is made we cannot guarantee that the servers are bug or virus free and therefore it is the visitor’s responsibility to ensure that they have adequate provision against such threats and scan all files before downloading. We cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or your computer system that may occur while using material derived from this website.
