Anticoagulation

The following newer oral anticoagulants are available in Australia.

  • Rivaroxaban (Xarelto®)
  • Dabigatran (Pradaxa®)
  • Apixaban (Eliquis®)

Patients may be initiated on these agents whilst in hospital or in the community for a number of indications.
