Changes to PBS quantities for opioids
PBS quantities for opioids have changed as of 1/6/20. The biggest changes for ED are:
- Endone 5mg now has a maximum dispensed quantity (without Authority) of 10 tablets (previously 20)
- Panadeine Forte similarly now has a maximum dispensed quantity of 10 tablets
All opioids, whether S4 or S8, now have reduced maximum quantities and/or new Authority requirements
