Report into the care of people with acquired brain injury
The Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) today released a major report into the care of people with acquired brain injury (ABI) in rural and remote NSW.
The Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service Delivery project: Developing a Model of Care for Rural and Remote NSW report followed an exhaustive investigation by the ACI’s Brain Injury Rehabilitation Network into brain injury needs and services in remote NSW.
Exploring in detail the experiences of 45 consumers and service providers with follow-up consultations and key stakeholder workshops, the report provides a valuable insight into the experiences of people with brain injuries and service providers and identifies strategies to improve services in rural and remote NSW.
