New Resource for Dementia and Delirium Clinicians
The Care of the Confused Hospitalised Older Persons study (CHOPs) Program aims to improve care and reduce harm to confused older patients in hospital by educating clinicians, families and carers on the signs and symptoms of dementia and delirium and the support needed to successfully treat patients experiencing these conditions. The ACI Aged Health Network has developed an extensive range of comprehensive resources including brochures for families and carers and an educational DVD for clinicians which are available on the website.
