Pain Management Forum
It is with great regret that we are postponing the Pain Management Forum on 18 May 2020. Due to the situation relating to COVID-19, the Agency for Clinical Innovation has recommended that large gatherings be cancelled to prevent any potential exposure to or spread of the virus.
When we have more information on a reschedule date, we will posts this on the ACI events webpage.
This free event is an opportunity for health professionals and consumers from the Pain Management Network to come together and discuss some important topical issues such as stigma, accessibility of pain services, youth and pelvic pain.
The Australian Prevention Partnership Centre will give a presentation at the University of Sydney on the role of primary health networks in improving the secondary prevention and management of chronic pain.
There will be panel discussions with opportunities for all attendees to be involved.
The Pain Management Network is celebrating 10 years of actively shaping the way we manage pain and is looking for your input to shape the next 10.
The workshop is for members of the Pain Management Network; consumers, health professionals and clinicians.
Non-members are welcome to attend, if there are spaces available, but they must apply directly to the Agency for Clinical Innovation’s Pain Network Manager Sue Rogers. Non-members will be wait-listed and contacted if space is available.
It may be possible to attend online – details to be confirmed.
